The 25th International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2008) was organized in Helsinki, Finland on July 5-9, 2008. ICML is the leading international machine learning conference, attracting annually about 500 participants from all over the world. ICML is supported by the International Machine Learning Society (IMLS).
- 6 July 2008: An ICML discussion site has been opened.
- 8 July 2008: All ICML technical sessions are video recorded, with kind support from the Pascal network. The recordings will be available at http://videolectures.net/icml08.
- 10 July 2008: ICML ended yesterday with a joint workshop day with UAI and COLT and a reception by the University of Helsinki. Thanks to all 159 speakers, 4 invited speakers, 13 tutorial speakers, contributors to the 11 workshops, and the 540 registrants. Thanks to the authors of 583 submissions and to the program committee for about 1800 reviews. Thanks to the conference organization and all the volunteers. See you in Montral for ICML 2009!
ICML, COLT and UAI colocated in Helsinki
ICML was co-located with two closely related conferences, the 24th Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (UAI) and the 21st Annual Conference on Learning Theory (COLT). In addition, ICML 2008 was preceded by the colocated satellite workshop 6th International Workshop on Mining and Learning with Graphs (MLG-2008), on July 4-5, 2008.
